- thenar atrophy 
- Phalen , Durkhan, Tinnel tests 
Exams
- imaging : no need 
- EMG essential 
Treatment
- NSAIDS, night splints, activity modifications 
- Corticosteroids injection ( effect may be temporary) 
- carpal tunnel release ( open or arthroscopy)
